Hey guys, I'm a stepmania newb, and my artist name is graphite412.

I just finished up my music tech degree and have been interested in electronic music.
I always liked DDR and found that stepmania was free. Since I make electronic music,
I have now learned how to put my songs in simfiles. Also I think that Stepmania
is the only way to motivate myself to exercise more than once a year

Hi there graphite and welcome^^

If youre a newb you can download Pad Packs due to the multiple difficulties(beginner, standart, pro) here are some examples:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1605

IF youre going into simfile creation I suggest reading this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1092

If youre doing simfiles of it I suggest not using songs which are longer than 2mins for the beginning.
Have fun^^
No, I make no funny Yoshi noises for you...

unfortunately my playstation to usb converter broke
So actually playing the tracks on a pad might take some time.
Are there packs of original music created by the simfile artists?

You're welcome to look for some, but itmt My 2008 pack has a bunch of sims (for keyboard) with songs remixed by me.

Cheers
